create your own interactive maps using the Google API
Google maps enable users to view locations sitting at home from their PC computer. Currently the local search is available for US only. You are seeking a place to visit but don’t know exact location on the planet. Use Google Maps to know your destination. You just need to type address of the location (for US citizens). Google Maps will take you to that address.
How can you use Google Maps for Business. Many corporate & organizations are using Google maps to display their business location “where they are located”. If you want to do the same use Google API which enables you to present Google maps on user website. To display a Google map on your website you need to generate a Google API key which provides access to transfer map or satellite images from Google server.
To create a Google API key signup here. Suppose you have created a Google API for www.example.com. You can use this API for www.example.com or www.example.com/123.html. You can’t you this API in any other subdirectory for instance www.example.com/folder. Now you need do some coding to display Google maps on you website. Create a file on root directory (www.example.com) example: maps.html.
