Music piracy has been increased in few years. Ipods are contributing more to increase piracy rate. Recently their was a huge sale in Ipod sale all ove the world . More than 100 million Ipods were purchased by people to listen their favorite music songs. The reason for this is music is now easily available for free over various P2P network and websites. Why one would pay for whole album . If you interested in specific songs. Specially students feel it is good to download music for free on internet. Apple have also launched their Itunes, where music lovers can download their favorite songs for just 99¢ each. A piracy study in 2004 suggest their are 20 countries in the world with highest piracy rate. People buy original records when they going to gift any album to someone. People like to download and store songs all in one sleek with lots of space for songs. Some internet providers are taking steps against piracy. If you download any pirated song from internet. You will be tracked and punished for downloading pirated songs. It better to ban such P2P networks or sites or host who allow you to download such music.
