Axiotron Modbook
The iPhone isn’t the only Apple gadget to get cloned by companies from side of the world. There have been talks of ASUS apparently working along side Apple on a “Mac-tablet” for some time now, but a company called Axiotron has already beaten them to it. Yes, there is , in fact, an Apple tablet that isn’t made by Apple. The Modbook, as its called is based on the Macbook, a quick search on Google reveals 2 models of the madbook - both between the price of $2,279 and $2,479. This isn’t some handicapped version of the Macbook its the whole shebang - a Core 2 Duo processor, a 80/160 GB hard drive, a 13.3 inch touchscreen (obviously) a stylus powered by WACOM’s penabled technology, Wifi and even a inbuilt GPS. All this run, on the OS X Tiger operating system. It’s not like they were running out of space to stuff in more things either. They even give you the option to put in 4 GB of memory and up to 670 GB of disk space.
