Light communication system
A Japan based company has developed a new communication system that don’t require any radio signals. It uses light signals to communicate with other devices. The optical intercom technology is an LED ceiling light that transmits light signals to a portable headset using infrared light to send back signals back to receiver without any disturbance.
The technology is more useful for hospitals, airplanes. because radio signal can’t be used in such places . So the light communication will be a good concept for better communications.
In Japan the cost for light communication system will be $20,000 starting from April 2009.
