Podcast Downloading & sharing

Podcast downloading is a new online way to share files. A podcast is used to send files from a content provider’s online site  to the subscribers computer.  The subscriber can view  the downloads whenever they are free. Whenever you upload new media content,
this Podcast RSS file is updated with text and links to new media files available for downloading.

A podcast client is a small program that goes
online to look for the RSS files that the feed subscribers
wish to view. There are many podcast clients  and most are free to
download.

Some radio stations are allowing subscribers to
download portions of their shows from the internet in
podcast form and play them on their computer when free to listen.

Some analysts believe that podcasting could  be used to distribute
software updates, demonstration programs, and many
other types of files, moving beyond the simple use of
podcasting to share music  & video files. All that would be
neccessary would be for the users to subscribe to the
feed with their podcast client. Podcast downloads is a push distribution of files across the internet, the data is pushed to the user. The the user not having to visit
each site they like, podcasting is changing the way the internet works. As internet speeds increase, it will be possible to directly distribute the content  to the subscriber,
