If you havtried playing with the cellphone hardware, be careful and be on max alert.
This holds true for any bettery operated portable device. Accidents due to short circuit resulting in smoking cellphones &  even battery explosions have happened.

While charging your phone, make sure the phone is not getting heated and  never overcharge the battery.

Nokia recently called back a batch of cellphones batteries manufactired in 2005-2006.
The same precautions should be taken for other devices while charging. If the battery takes longer than normal to fully charge or is getting heated, immediately replace the battery with a original battery.
