GPS Tracking system for a car - Yes or No?

September 19th, 2007 · 1 Comment

When I heard of a system tracking my car in real time, I wasn’t sure if I will ever need it. No freelancer will like his car tracked. I love web tracking. Car Tracking - did not strike a positive note.  Do you agree or you don’t? After all what is Auto Insurance for.

But when we decided to go to the mountains with a schedule to stay in a Jungle Resort, we all thought of installing GPS real time tracking in all the 5 cars our group was travelling in.  We took a trial. All of us agreed with no doubts  to get the GPS installed.

With  1 month and 2 days to move on our mountaineering excursion, with plan to  cover the first part of the adventure on cars and camping at a Jungle Resort at a height of 6700 feet. So we got  the first GPS installed on one of the cars. The GPS works so well to track the car, we are sure we will never loose track while moving to the jungle resort.

Our moutaineering coach & guide was all yes on learning about the GPS system. My wife was jubilant as she will always know how far and where I was at any moment.   If you have your view of  GPS applications, you are welcome to help & leave your comments.
