Till this day, man (woman) has shown unlimited capacity to evolve to higher levels. Every challenge thrown by programmed robots will only help man to develop into better & more powerful earthlings. May be we need it to stand against aliens from the other world.
So all developments in Science & Technology will motivate humans to grow & develop and win the Soccer match Earthlings vs Robots in 2050. Even if they lose some early matches, they will find match winning strategies.
We humans are the natures magic mold, cast in humility that can be molded to grow in unlimited ways. So the world cup 2050 will certainly be won by the humans.
