Catchup with Mashups to avoid the messup

May 10th, 2008 · No Comments

A mashup is a web application that combines data
from more than one applications/source into a single integrated service,
giving more value to the user (not provided by either of the applications individually).

Mashups are a new phenomenon offering new opportunities to developers & a better value to the users.

Examples of Mashups are Facebook applications. More than 3000 mashups exist and more are being added by the day.
Creating & monetising the opportunities offered by the mashups is a big opportunity both for IT industry, Developers Community & users adapting new web2.0 & converging technologies for business.

Learn & adopt mashups as ignoring the mashups will result in losing on the benefits of the low cost integration offered by mashups.
